How often should gutters be cleaned?

At least twice per year — once in spring and once in late fall after leaves drop. Homes surrounded by mature trees may need quarterly cleaning. Regular maintenance prevents costly water damage to your foundation, siding, and landscaping.

Do you flush downspouts?

Yes. Every gutter cleaning includes downspout flushing with pressurized water to clear compacted debris and confirm proper drainage flow. We test each downspout and report any blockages or damage we find.

What happens to the debris?

We bag and remove all debris from your property. Your gutters, roof edges, and the ground below are left clean. We never blow debris onto your lawn or landscaping.

Do you install gutter guards?

We inspect existing guards and can discuss options for your home. Guard installation is quoted separately from cleaning services. We can advise on which guard types work best for your roof pitch and local tree coverage.

What damage can clogged gutters cause?

Clogged gutters can lead to foundation cracks, basement flooding, fascia board rot, landscape erosion, and ice dams in winter. A single overflow event during a Toronto rainstorm can direct hundreds of litres of water toward your foundation.

Can you clean gutters in winter?

We clean gutters year-round when conditions are safe. Late fall cleaning before the first freeze is ideal to prevent ice dams. If ice buildup has already formed, we can schedule for the next safe weather window.

Do you provide a condition report?

Yes. After every cleaning, we note any issues we observed — loose brackets, cracks, separation from fascia, or signs of rust. This helps you address small problems before they become expensive repairs.

Can I bundle gutter and window cleaning?
