Tell us where the dryer is and, if known, where the vent exits the property.
Share any stairs, parking, building rules or hard-to-reach areas we should review.
Let us know why you are enquiring, including any concerns about drying or visible lint.
When to ask about the vent
Clothes taking longer than usual to dry can be a reason to check the dryer and its exhaust route.
Visible lint around an exterior vent or a flap that does not open freely is worth mentioning.
Laundry or the dryer feeling unusually hot, or weak airflow at the outlet, may point to a vent concern.
Toronto Fire advises regular lint removal from metal ducts and exhaust vents and checking that the outside flap opens. See its clothes dryer safety guidance. If you notice smoke or a burning smell, stop using the dryer and seek urgent help.
Local service
Share your city and postal code when you enquire. We review access for your address before offering appointment options. For condos, share any building rules or permissions that may affect access to the vent.
View our general service areasThe written quote will confirm the agreed work, any exclusions, applicable taxes and total price. If you are unsure where the vent exits or whether access is possible, tell us in the request so we can review it with you.
Ask for a scope reviewFor a residential dryer, tell us about the route to the outdoor outlet if you know it and any access restrictions. We will confirm which parts of the vent can be serviced and the written scope before booking. Duct repair and shared building systems are not part of this residential cleaning offer.
Longer drying times, unusually hot laundry or dryer surfaces, visible lint near the outdoor outlet, or weak exhaust can be reasons to ask about the vent. If you notice a burning smell, smoke, or an immediate hazard, stop using the dryer and seek appropriate urgent help.
You can send us the details for review. Building permission, access, vent route and whether the vent serves only your own dryer affect whether we can take the job. We do not offer cleaning for commercial or shared laundry systems at this time.
No. A clothes dryer exhaust vent is a separate system from a home’s heating and cooling air ducts. This request is for the dryer exhaust route, subject to a confirmed scope.
Start with your name, phone number and city. The number of dryers, vent exit, access, property rules and any symptoms help us understand the work. We may ask for photos or more details, then provide a written scope and quote for your approval before booking.
We will review the details and prepare a written quote before an appointment is agreed.
