Our review standard
Source hierarchy
Safety and regulatory statements start with Canadian government guidance, product labels, and manufacturer care instructions. General industry material is used only when it can be checked and clearly scoped.
Service claims
Methods, access limits, documentation, and treatment options must match work Serv1sland can currently assess and provide. Results are not guaranteed when fabric, glass, staining, weather, access, or prior damage can change the outcome.
Pricing language
Articles explain the factors needed for a quote. We do not present unsupported market averages, automatic discounts, or fixed treatment charges as current facts.
Local relevance
GTA references must help a reader make a local service decision. City names alone are not treated as evidence that two pages deserve separate search visibility.
Dates and material updates
Each indexed guide has one publication date and one modification date shared by the page, article listing, structured data, and sitemap. The modification date changes only for a material editorial update.
Corrections
Readers can report an inaccurate or outdated claim. The Serv1sland Team reviews the cited section, checks the strongest available source, and updates or removes the claim when warranted.
Household chemical safety
Cleaning products should be used according to their labels and should not be mixed. Our safety-first upholstery guidance references Health Canada's current household chemical precautions and defers to the furniture care label and product manufacturer instructions.
